Macaroni Grill Branding

When looking at a company's Brand Guidelines they get very specific as to how they want you to portray their company. Macaroni Grill is no exception, when going through their guide book they have specific colors, typefaces, and even font size that you must use when designing for them. They have 2 specific logos that you are required to choose from, one is more of a normal typeface that says Macaroni Grill and the other is the same exact logo but it has more textures so you get a more grill stamped feel to it. Yellow and Black are their main colors in the company but you may also use blue, red, and green when designing their menus. When you are choosing images to put in the menus you also have specific guidelines you have to follow. They give you certain images you have to use in the preparation page, the finishing touches page, and the consumption page. You also will receive certain images that you must use if you want to just use textures as a background for anything you are working on for this company. The typeface you have to use for everything you do it Ramonos Regular and this was a typeface created specifically for Macaroni Grill. When you are stamping the logo on anything you can not put it any smaller than .375 inches because then it becomes too small and unreadable. This was a very informative guideline and I learned a lot from reading through it as to how a company wants you to brand them and how difficult it must be for a designer to have any freedom when designing webpages, menus, handouts, etc.
